Heating & furnace repairs use the same diagnostic and common-repair ranges as AC repair; indoor-air-quality upgrades (media filters, UV, dehumidifiers) are quoted per home after we see the system.

What moves the number
What drives HVAC prices in the Mid-South
- System count and size. Two-system homes (common in Germantown, Collierville and newer DeSoto subdivisions) roughly double duct-cleaning and tune-up time.
- Access. Attic air handlers, crawlspaces and tight closets add labor; package units on older ranches are usually quicker.
- Refrigerant. R-410A systems are still serviceable, but refrigerant cost has risen with the 2025 transition to R-454B; leak repairs are priced to the fix, not to an hourly meter.
- Parts on the truck. Capacitors, contactors, motors, ignitors and flame sensors ride with us, so most repairs finish on the first visit with no second trip charge.
- Efficiency tier. Replacement ranges span 14-SEER2 value systems to variable-speed heat pumps; we show good / better / best with the operating-cost difference spelled out.
- Humidity. Mid-South summers load coils and drains; a lot of “repairs” are really clogged condensate lines and dirty coils — we tell you which before you pay for more.

Are these prices guaranteed?+
They are honest planning ranges from the work we actually do. Your exact price is quoted flat-rate, in writing, after the diagnostic or in-home estimate — and you approve it before any work starts. No open-ended hourly meter.
Is the diagnostic fee credited toward the repair?+
Yes. The $89–$129 diagnostic is applied to the repair if you proceed with us that visit.
Why is duct cleaning more than the $99 coupon I saw?+
Whole-home source removal — negative-air HEPA collection plus agitation of every run, with the blower compartment and coil access cleaned — takes 2–4 hours and real equipment. Coupon pricing usually covers a few registers and upsells from there. We photograph inside your ducts before and after so you can see what you paid for.
Do Comfort Club members pay less for repairs?+
Members get 10% off all repairs, no overtime or after-hours surcharge, priority scheduling, and two tune-ups a year, from $189 per system per year.
Do you charge extra for evenings or weekends?+
Emergency and after-hours service is available; any after-hours rate is stated up front before we dispatch, and Comfort Club members never pay an overtime surcharge. We do not claim 24/7 availability.
