Air Duct Cleaning & AC Repair in Memphis, TN

Memphis is the biggest piece of our map and the one we have run daily since 2011. From Southaven the route is I-55 north: about 15 minutes to Whitehaven, 20 to 25 to Midtown and Downtown, and 30 to 35 to East Memphis, Raleigh or Hickory Hill via I-240 or I-40. Our trucks cross the state line every working morning, so Shelby County addresses are scheduled as routes, not as one-off trips.

Same-day windows most weekdays on our daily Shelby County routes — about 25 to 35 minutes up I-55. · Last reviewed August 23, 2026

Memphis housing spans a century. Midtown, Cooper-Young and Central Gardens are 1910s to 40s bungalows and foursquares that were never built for ductwork; most have retrofit systems with the air handler in the attic and supply runs threaded through closets. Whitehaven, Frayser, Berclair and Parkway Village are post-war 1950s and 60s ranches, often on crawlspaces with a package unit or a closet furnace. East Memphis runs from 1950s ranches to 1990s two-storey homes, and Hickory Hill and Raleigh are 1970s to 90s subdivisions where the second or third system is now the one failing.

Duct cleaning leads in Memphis for a reason: the older the house and the more owners it has had, the more that ductwork has collected. A before-and-after camera look settles the question of whether yours needs it.

What Memphis homes usually need

Pre-war Midtown and Central Gardens homes on piers with retrofit ductwork and attic air handlers; 1950s and 60s ranches across Whitehaven, Frayser, Berclair, Parkway Village and parts of East Memphis, many on crawlspaces with package units or closet furnaces; 1970s to 90s slab subdivisions in Hickory Hill, Raleigh and Cordova-side Memphis with attic units; and newer infill Downtown and on Mud Island with small split systems and condos on package or rooftop units. Gas furnaces with central AC are the norm; heat pumps are more common in the 1970s-and-later stock.

Retrofit ductwork in pre-war homes

One hallway return, small supply runs and an attic air handler sweating over plaster ceilings. Airflow fixes and a float switch solve more Midtown complaints than new equipment does.

Crawlspace and package-unit wear in post-war ranches

Whitehaven and Frayser ranches often have ducts in a damp crawlspace and a package unit that has been patched for 20 years. We check both before quoting anything.

Second- and third-generation systems in 1970s to 90s subdivisions

Hickory Hill and Raleigh homes are often on a replacement system that is itself 15 to 20 years old, with the original ductwork underneath it.

Dust, pollen and renovation debris in ducts

Memphis pollen seasons plus a century of renovations leave ductwork loaded. The camera shows what is in there and the after photo shows it gone.

Humidity-driven frozen coils

A dirty filter or low charge in a Memphis July ices the evaporator coil quickly. Turn the system off, let it thaw, and have the cause found before it happens again.
